Arriving in Grenada
We arrived in Grenada on December 9th. Almost exactly 17 days after we left Cabo Verde. Luckily aside from Squalls and big winds the trip was good. We had to motor for the last 2 days as we wanted to get their on the 9th, to give us time to clean up the boat and rest before Makaela arrived on the 10th.
For her 18th birthday, we raised her up the halyard on the mast. A birthday experience to remember.
We also decided to measure the parasail, as Blair said it shouldn't be dragging in the water. Obvisouly the sail is too big for the sock, and you can see the 6' of extra sail on the dock. Once Blair spoke with the sail makers it turns out they had transposed some number and we had a Parasail that was 55% too big. That's alot of extra sail. I am suprised that we were still able to handle all that extra sail for the entire trip.
After a few days of rest and celebrations with all the other ARC+ Rally people, we sailed off to Dominica (The Nature Island).
